And, we know that we would not have been successful on our own. We’ve taken advantage of mentors and coaches and masterminding to ensure we had great role models and the support and accountability we needed to reach our goals.

Hi!  I’m Ruth McCurdy one of the principals of Wonderous Woman Enterprises. As a wife, mother, a recent grandmother, sister, daughter and a senior executive of a national multi-million dollar firm, I find that being “Ruth” can be pushed to the back burner at times.

I began my career as a receptionist which suited me perfectly – I love interacting with people! My passion for customer service and building lasting relationships catapulted me into many roles up the corporate ladder. I became the first woman to sit on the executive board of my company and realized that I had become a role model for many young women. My passion for women and our issues has always been a part of who I am, but it wasn’t until recently that I realized this is my life’s purpose.

Over the past year, I have been on a journey to re-discover my passion and purpose. My heart’s desire has always been to help women achieve the goals for their lives and to know and be the Wonderous Woman they are. So, the idea of these retreat programs was born. I can’t wait to meet you and help you begin your journey back to YOU!

Hi there!  I’m Brenda Vicente, one of the principals of Wonderous Woman Enterprises. Like Ruth, I play many demanding roles. As president of a national, multi million dollar firm I was responsible not only for the success of the company, but also for ensuring that our employees find meaning and joy in their work. One of my favorite roles is that of “Mom” and between being a single mom and my career, it’s not easy to find time for me.

My career began as a retail buyer. I moved into a corporate role after a few years and began helping people find jobs. This job gave me the opportunity to interact with both companies and people looking for work and I learned that I had a knack for helping people get what they wanted. I found this to be extremely rewarding and determined this was the career for me!

I enjoyed many successes along the way and was promoted up the corporate ladder every couple of years. In 2004, I was named President of the company that I began my career with.

I have a passion for the hearts of women and helping them find their way to their passion and purpose. We all have bumps along the way, we have to get up, brush it off and get back on track. We are created to be Wonderous Women and and in my new role I look forward to meeting you and supporting you in your journey.
